There are two meanings, both quirky. It could be spelled normally or shortened to Elbo.
RSS is an acronym for (1) Rich Site Summary, but it is also an acronym for (2) Repetitive Stress Syndrome. For example Carpel Tunnel is an RSS (2) injury. Tennis Elbow is also a type of a RSS (2) injury. Elbo is then vaguely related to RSS.
An Elbow Joint is also a type of joint in plumbing, one that is generally used for 90 degree turns. A 90 turn is also called an orthogonal. Since we are looking for orthogonally different uses for the format (storage, syndication, posting) Elbo would be the joint in all of them.
[MartinAtkins] I've always heard it called RSI: Repetitive Strain Injury. I certainly would not have made this connection.
Nothing related to computers. Sporting equipment, food, and clothing are the only conflicts.
