This WikiEngine doesn't seem to grok the irc: URI scheme.

IRC channels are resources too. see Real-Time Resources in the Web: IRC, Telephone, Instant Messaging, DanConnolly, Jan 2001. (from the RDFCalendar wiki)

Modification of config.url_schemas is required.

This moin-irc.patch may help.
