Facebook does XMPP
Florian Jensen: just use your Facebook Username and Password, and use the server chat.facebook.com.
Also ensure Require SSL/TLS is not turned on. Other than that, seems to work seamlessly.

Very cool. Too bad there are so many stalker-ish folks on FB. Otherwise, this might actually be useful. It’s nice to see XMPP adoption, though. Kinda makes me wish Twitter would bring theirs back online.

Posted by Damien Diederen atI have family members that use Facebook heavily for IM. Now I am more available to them. Furthermore, I can control which lists show up in Chat. This is a big win for me.
