It’s just data

Silver

Five years later, and still going strong.  The way I figure it, if we can survive raising two teenagers (status: incomplete), we can last through anything.

And just to prove that romance isn’t dead, last night we went shopping for a new washer and dryer.

Congrats, etc. The crack about “my current wife”, you’ll be pleased to hear, goes down badly with people other than just Carolyn. And I’m eagerly awaiting 2012, when I’ll be 36 and can use the “18 happy years...and then I met her” line. From a safe distance, natch.

I’ve been married for almost 3 months. That’s kind of like 25 years, right? Right?

Congrats.

It’s only been 6 years (come July) for me.

But I’ve also managed to raise four teenagers (status:incomplete - two are currently 16, the other two are 21, MPs in the Army, and doing great!)

The good thing is that I’m only raising one daughter.  G[h]od[ess[es]][s] help me if I had two!

(second try, if this dupes, sorry!)

Congratulations Sam! 13 years here - with 3 kids :-)

By the way - does any other country celebrate 12 1/2 years? They do here in Germany - Parsley.

My wife is amused by being introduced as “my first wife”.  I’m not entirely sure that’s a good thing...

Congratulations. Relationships are the really important stuff.

Congrats on the new washer and dryer!  (Oh, and on that other thing, too.)

Near Miss

Scott Adams:  While we did go to the Cheesecake Factory for Valentines day, luckily we went to the Angus Barn for our 25th anniversary. Whew.  That was a close one.  Perhaps we will make it 26 after all.... [more]
