Rails in Vancouver
Tim Bray: It turns out they’re holding what’s
advertised as “the first ever 100% Ruby on Rails event in the
world” right here in Vancouver, April 13-14:
Canada on Rails.
I’ll go for sure.
I’ll be there too. Note: this is not merely the place for refugees who blinked during the brief moments when there were seats available for the RailsConf in Chicago, this conference has an impressive lineup of speakers its own.
Well, I signed up. Now I just have to figure out travel stuffs I guess. Which is no fun for someone like myself who can’t plan stuff properly to save his life.

Interestingly, NSHB asked me to submit a proposal for a talk on FeedTools, but I (probably wisely) chickened out, since technically, I’ve never even been a spectator at a tech conference before, much less a presenter (I’m not really counting BarCamp). I really do need to show up for one though. Vancouver might be a decent way to use up some of my vacation time though. I’ll definitely have to think about it.
