... ago today, the Pie wiki was created. During that period, we had interminable naming discussions, a lengthy process of selecting a standards body, endless discussion on dates, and a last call.
One week from today, format-09 is scheduled to be reviewed by the IESG.
Congratulations on chewing it up. At the time, I never would have guessed how big a bite you were taking.

I don’t know if other significant specs have been developed with a similarly sizable group of participants contributing in such a public way, but I think it’s great to see all of the interesting details of Atom and connect them with everyone’s contributions.
Thanks too, Sam, for kicking-off Pie in the right direction at the right time!
