Wrapping XML-RPC in SOAP

Rich Salz So what we've started work on is a SOAP profile, defined in WSDL, that should make it easy for "legacy" XML-RPC applications to interoperate.

The XML-RPC implementation are drop-dead simple.

No "t". :)
More important than the typo, tho, is this: what do you think about it?

"t"'s gone.

What do I think about it? It's wacky. It's boneheaded. I love it.

touche' on the (Uche?) on the boneheaded comment. Did I misunderstand what you were suggesting?

But anyway, isn't it time to put xml-rpc to sleep?

It is a good article, a thought provoking idea, which IMHO is basically sound. I especially liked the closing quote from Imagine.

All that being said, xml-rpc is not mine to put to sleep.

Thanks, can't ask for more than that.
