Slides from my WS-Rest keynote.
Added bonus: I finally got to meet Leonard Richardson, with whom I co-authored of the RESTful Web Services book.
For some reason, I imagined you giving this talk wearing a black leather jacket and shades.
Regardless of that, I hope that you mentioned that we’re working on fixing these mismatches between HTML5 and HTTP in HTTPbis.
Your talk made me sad.
Is there anybody left out there who care about correctness of documents just for the sake of saving other people’s time?
Don’t people realise that every time you produce non-conforming output you are wasting somebody’s life? Somebody will have to spend their time to adapt their application to your sloppiness (probably blaming and cursing you).
