Dare Obasanjo: I’ll probe around internally as to where to send feedback and start sending it.
Cool. Sometimes success in these organizations depends on the competence and heroics of the people in the organization and not on the use of proven processes; in such cases one needs to take what one can get.
I’ve left a series of technical comments in Dare’s weblog entry (I wish Dare’s blogging software supported per comment permalinks); I would encourage others to do likewise.
Longer term, I’d suggest that the Microsoft “RSS” team follow the lead of their Office brethren and consider approaching an internationally recognized standards body with their extensions. If that were done, I would likely participate.
I’m curious if you’d consider something like PurpleSlurple to be feesible in this situation?
It overlooks the comment section of Dare’s Blog entry! Arg!
I failed to post the context of my feedback.
(I wish Dare’s blogging software supported per comment permalinks);
I also think that after I posted that comment, I was returned to your blog, not the permalink for that blog entry or my comment...
