IE sucks. I get appreciative email at least once a week from people who stumble across my site via search engines and end up discovering they have some nasty parasite installed. Usually they're less, um, colorful.
Anyway, all the credit for the detection script goes to Andrew Clover, who wrote it. Anyone is permitted to install it on their own site. More information is here:
IE rocks. I don't have to install new versions every other week like Mozilla. Now with Firebird, I have double trouble. With IE, I just have to patch it up every day.
Can I have my five bucks now, Bill?
If IE patches ever added something good, rather than just stopping something bad, I'd like them a lot more. I do sometimes pick up a new Firebird nightly to get a bug fix, but mostly I switch when there's something new and cool that I want. I just really like things under active development. As Sam noted in my blog tagline.
And I'm not sure why Shannon wants her underwear back: I never wear any when I use IE, since it's so much more convenient that way.
